STORIES WE’VE TOLD
Education
THE STORY
Capturing the delighted faces of parents watching their children perform in school productions to sharing the milestones of a college’s achievements are the things we look forward to in our day to day rhythm! For the education sector, telling a representative organisation story is key to fuelling confidence in the current community and prospective families alike. We believe the best way to do that is to be present, on-campus capturing the moments that matter across the school year!
Having media, marketing and design experts all under the same roof has proved to be fantastic, especially for the education sector as we’ve been able to tell more cohesive organisational stories from the copywriting of a website and prospectus and branding throughout all touchpoints to capturing life on campus and integrating all faucets managed by the same team.
We understand the cycles of the sector as well as how to draw out the values of educational organisations and place them into carefully curated stories with purpose to provide the best snapshot of the heart behind it all and ultimately amplify impact, uplift experiences and drive enrolments.
“They didn't just show up with a camera. They took the time to understand who we are, and the story we were trying to tell. They captured significant moments across the life of the school and helped us apply that to communications across the board.“
Alan D. - Learning Journeys Coordinator, Trinity Grammar School

The Challenge
Schools are full of moments worth preserving, but most end up undocumented, or documented poorly. For four Melbourne schools operating across very different contexts, the challenge wasn't just finding a photographer. It was finding someone who could move fluidly between a theatrical performance, an outdoor learning program, a formal reunion, and a community portrait session, and bring genuine creative direction to each one, not just show up and shoot.
The Solution
Priism approached each school as a separate brief with its own character, audience and purpose. For Strathcona Girls Grammar, that meant high-quality theatre photography paired with complementary program design that matched the ambition of their performing arts offering. For Trinity Grammar, it was a recurring engagement across concerts, reunions and outdoor learning journeys. Waverley Christian College needed a single event documented with care, while Belgrave Heights required promotional photography built to communicate their values to families who had never set foot on campus.
Outcomes
Each school left with a library of images that actually looked like them not stock, not staged, not generic. The work has since been used across websites, prospectuses, social media and internal communications, with Trinity Grammar returning for multiple engagements over the following year. More than the deliverables, what each school gained was a visual language for who they are one they could build on long after the shoot day was done.
